Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor I to lead a dedicated shop floor team on the Engine Assembly and Transmission Assembly lines. You will coach technicians, enforce safety protocols, and drive lean initiatives to meet production targets while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 4 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience, or 6+ years leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly operations.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and throughput for engine and transmission assembly lines.
• Lead shift huddles and coordinate manpower assignments for line balance.
• Enforce safety protocols and audits for a zero-incident shop floor environment.
• Monitor KPIs including quality targets, defect reduction, and schedule adherence.
• Coach technicians to foster growth, cross-training, and strong team morale.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Drive CI initiatives using lean principles on the line.
