Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, invites interns to join the Florida site near Jupiter to work on predictive models and data-driven insights for engine validation. You will learn to design dashboards, publish knowledge assets, and communicate results to varied audiences within a supportive aerospace environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics and have programming experience in Python or similar languages, plus SQL and data

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
  • Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of aircraft engine systems and validation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models to forecast risk factors in support of engine validation planning.
  • Apply statistical models to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in engine validation datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively.
  • Develop and publish new knowledge assets within EKS (ESW, K-Packs, GB, training, etc.).
  • Communicate results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

What You Will Do

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
