Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Mossville, IL, seeks an agency engineer to develop, conduct, and manage engine structures and dynamics validation tests for the Large Power Systems Division.

You will evaluate complex failure modes and provide technical guidance to drive NTI, NPI, and CPI product solutions. Responsibilities include using data acquisition systems (eDAQ, LMS, cDAQ), analyzing vibration, stress/strain data, performing modal testing, and coordinating prototype hardware testing and instrumentation

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of internal combustion engines and machinery.
• Understanding of structural dynamics/vibration, NVH testing, and structural simulation.

Responsibilities

• Validation of components and resolution of field issues through vibration testing of engines and package gensets.
• Utilizing data acquisition systems and performing modal testing, data analysis, and prototype hardware coordination.
