Job summary

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree and 2+ years of testing experience, with strong communication skills and a drive for process improvement. Travel is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant testing experience.
• Understanding of internal combustion engines and NVH testing desired.
• Ability to communicate technical results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, conduct, analyze, and manage engine structures & dynamics tests.
• Evaluate failure modes and guide product development.
• Utilize data acquisition systems and analyze vibration and stress data.
• Perform modal testing and coordinate prototype hardware.
• Set up tests with instrumentation and gaging, and report results.
• Collaborate across design and simulation teams to drive improvements.
• Lead project planning, generate reports, and communicate conclusions.
• Identify opportunities to improve validation efficiency.
