Job summary

Workforce Solutions is seeking a Product Manager for Small Engines / OEM Power Equipment in Greensboro, NC with remote work options. Travel up to 25% across the U.S. Full-time role supporting a family of gasoline engine products used in commercial and industrial equipment.

You will work with customers, engineering, and sales teams to shape product strategy, drive growth, and ensure successful lifecycle management across a growing market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum three years of experience managing or supporting technical products.
• Experience with OEM manufacturers, dealers, distributors, or industrial customers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to understand product applications.
• Experience with pricing, launches, competitive analysis, or portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States as needed.

Responsibilities

• In This Role You Will Guide the direction and growth of the engine product portfolio.
• Collaborate with OEM customers to understand equipment requirements and recommend product solutions.
• Support field sales during customer meetings, presentations, and product evaluations.
• Partner with engineering resources on applications, prototypes, and product implementation.
• Analyze competitive products and market opportunities to strengthen product positioning.
• Develop technical resources, customer presentations, and educational materials.
• Assist with forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory planning, and overall product performance.
• Build relationships with distributors and dealer partners by providing technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities to expand market share through new applications and replacements.
