Duncan Aviation is seeking an Engine Overhaul Tech I in Lincoln, NE to assist with inspections, maintenance, and overhaul of TFE 731 engines and related systems. Under moderate supervision, you will follow manufacturer specs, Duncan procedures, and customer requirements, while ensuring safety and timely documentation.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of engine maintenance experience, with Powerplant and possibly Airframe certificates preferred.
The Engine Overhaul Tech I assists with maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul primarily on TFE 731 engines, systems, and components, and a variety of other of aircraft engines as needed. With moderate supervision, the Tech I performs work in accordance with the engine manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. In addition, the position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Licenses/Certificates: Powerplant Certificate required; Airframe Certificate preferred; Fork Lift qualified; Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; tool inventory per department tool list required
Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products, materials and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates working in confined spaces and heights above four feet; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
