Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an Engine Test Cell Tech I to assist with maintenance, inspection, repair and testing of HTF engines and related components under moderate supervision. Responsibilities

• With moderate supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, maintenance, and testing of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of aircraft engines using proper hand tools in a timely, clean safe and professional manner with minimal rework. Orders general parts as needed.
• With moderate supervision, prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, engine process sheets, W.O. Sheets, personal training log, etc.).
• With assistance, locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job description

General Summary

The Engine Test Cell Tech I assists with maintenance, inspection, repair, and testing primarily on HTF engines, systems, and components, and a variety of other of aircraft engines as needed. With moderate supervision, the Tech I performs work in accordance with the engine manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation-approved procedures, and customer specifications, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. In addition, the position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

1. With moderate supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, maintenance, and testing of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of aircraft engines using proper hand tools in a timely, clean safe and professional manner with minimal rework. Orders general parts as needed.
