Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineer to lead engine and component design, coordinate requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing and manufacturing. You will procure prototype materials and verify fit-ups on engines, support field validation, and address warranty issues.

The role emphasizes NPI/CPI/CCV design experience, effective communication, and strong project management to deliver results through design reviews and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree required in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
• Relevant experience in engine or component design/development.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc).
• Must be self-motivated with a good sense of urgency when handling tasks.
• Experience with Teamcenter, ProE, Pro-Cable, and CREO (ProE Schematic) software.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively and lead design reviews.
• Experience with improving designs based on FEA, validation tests, FMEA, field failures.

Responsibilities

• Create and support detailed design and distribute requirements to offsite detailers.
• Collaborate with engine platform teams, purchasing, and manufacturing.
• Procure prototype material and verify functionality with on-engine fit-ups.
• Support field validation activities and resolve warranty/field issues.
• Lead design reviews and stakeholder Updates with management.
