Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Background investigation and drug test required; random testing may occur.
• Possess ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an experienced wildland firefighter on an engine crew.
• Locate fireline and participate in fireline construction and backfiring operations.
• Drive and operate a wildland fire engine; manage hoses, nozzles, and water handling.
• Ensure tools and equipment are ready for firefighting tasks.
