Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure appropriate to student population is required.
• Experience writing IEPs and implementing individualized plans.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and Common Core.
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Teaches district-approved curriculum and develops materials with appropriate accommodations.
• Maintains behavior standards and an engaging, safe learning environment.
• Evaluates student progress and prepares progress reports.
• Collaborates with parents, specialists, and staff to support student goals.
• Plans and coordinates paraeducators and volunteers in classroom activities.
