Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant educational field required.
• Valid PSC approved teaching certificate required.
• Endorsements in ESOL, Gifted, or CTAE as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade relevant, subject matter and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents by phone, email or video.
• Creates a conducive learning environment for diverse learners.
• Uses web-based technology to provide instruction and collaboration.
• Assesses progress, maintains attendance and prepares reports.
• Supervises student behavior per Code of Conduct and handbook.
• Participates in conferences with parents, students, counselors and staff.
• Performs duties such as ordering materials and attending professional trainings.
• Directs paraprofessional or instructional aide as needed.
