Job summary

The role includes in-person and virtual instruction, collaboration with staff, and ongoing assessment and reporting on student progress.

The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia PSC-approved bachelor's degree and teaching certificate, plus endorsements as required (ESOL & Gifted).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Georgia PSC-approved college or university.
• Valid PSC-approved teaching certificate in the appropriate field.
• ESOL & Gifted endorsements may be required.
• GACE Education Ethics Assessment must be passed.
• Minimum two years of verifiable industrial work experience.
• Industry licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment for diverse learners.
• Assesses progress and prepares reports on achievement and attendance.
• Directs paraprofessionals or instructional aides as needed.
• Maintains regular attendance and participates in meetings.
