Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-age children in before/after school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work split shifts and maintain scheduling flexibility.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in child development.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in early childhood or education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children during before and after school hours.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all children in the program.
• Assist with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding children’s progress and needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance and activity records.
• Follow all licensing and program policies and procedures.
