Job summary

EnrichEd in Providence, RI is seeking a part-time childcare aide to support after-school and morning programs. You will help create a safe, welcoming space and assist children with homework and activities, while promoting health and learning. Training is available, and you will collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure quality care.

The role emphasizes reliable attendance, a friendly demeanor, and strong communication, with opportunities for growth and involvement in program improvements.

Qualifications

• Willing to train the right person; experience with children preferred.
• Must pass national criminal background/fingerprints check.
• Must pass DCYF Clearance Request (CPS).

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to provide a safe, healthy, structured, welcoming space.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development.
• Promote physical health and provide a safe, supportive environment.
• Inspire children to be lifelong learners and assist with homework.
• Partner with school staff to maintain a safe educational setting.
• Showcase tech skills with an electronic daily tracking app.
• Support accreditation and other quality initiatives.
• Play games and have fun with the children.
