Job summary

SAK Management is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in delivering planned activity programs for residents. You will transport residents, maintain records, and handle clerical tasks in compliance with regulations and policies.

You will collaborate with team members to provide engaging activities such as arts, crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music, and drama, ensuring safety and proper equipment use. A positive, customer-focused image is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with F-Endorsement.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must present a positive image of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Aides assists with providing engaging and enjoyable recreational activities to residents which may also include assistance with patients or participants use of equipment and supplies.
• Activities may include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music or drama.
• Prepares equipment and ensures the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
• Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
• Proper record keeping of equipment and its use.
• Assist in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.

Education
