The instructor will prepare, teach, and evaluate coursework, hold synchronous sessions, and maintain accurate records. Expertise in Canvas and strong communication skills are essential for success in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from nationally or regionally accredited institution in discipline OR Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours related to curriculum content.
• At least 1 year of online teaching experience.
• Successful completion of the Concorde Online Facilitator Training course.
• Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to instruct others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for teaching and ensure sections are error-free, dates set, materials accessible, and courses paired with 3rd party tools.
• Teach assigned course(s) following approved curriculum and keep online classroom engaging.
• Provide three synchronous sessions per term and respond to student communications within 24 hours.
• Post interactive responses to LMS discussions at least four times weekly and at least once on weekends.
• Grade all assignments within 72 hours and provide robust feedback based on rubrics.
• Maintain accurate records and post mid-term grades within 48 hours of week six.
• Refer students to campus staff for additional advising as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
