Job summary

Concorde seeks an Online Adjunct Instructor to teach contracted courses according to curriculum requirements and standards, delivering engaging online learning experiences and supporting student success. The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent with 18 graduate hours), at least 1 year of online teaching, and completion of the Concorde Online Facilitator Training.

Strong communication and technical readiness are essential.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in the course discipline or Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in related subject areas.
At least 1 year of online teaching experience.
Successful completion of the Concorde Online Facilitator Training course.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to follow lesson plans and instruct others.
Access to a personal computer, broadband Internet, and compatible hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Prepare for teaching.
Teach assigned course(s).
Provide three synchronous sessions each term and respond to student communication within 24 hours.
Post interactive responses to student discussions and grade submissions within 72 hours.
Maintain accurate student records and grades.
Support student success and refer high-risk students as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
