Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care at Oakmont of Westpark in California. This full-time role supports the Memory Care Director by organizing and directing engaging social activities and excursions for residents, promoting independence and quality of life in a secure memory care setting.

Responsibilities include planning high‑quality events, promoting resident participation, coordinating with families and staff, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office.
• Vaccination, daily screening and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director by providing a rewarding social atmosphere for residents.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled activities, excursions, events and clubs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment and be able to drive community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
