Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field.
• Possession of a math teaching license through DESE at the middle and/or high school level.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with data-driven instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Criminal Record Check (CORI) and fingerprint check completed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district math standards.
• Teach math concepts appropriate to the grade level, including pre‑algebra, algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student understanding regularly through quizzes, tests, projects, and formative assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve their mathematical skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with IEPs or English language learners.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communication.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning.
