Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in mathematics or applied math; related credentials welcomed.
• Bachelor’s in math or related field and master’s in stats/physics/math education.
• Valid California Community College Credential or equivalency considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach developmental and transfer mathematics courses.
• Maintain professional conduct and up-to-date subject knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff; foster good working relationships.
• Develop and utilize technologies for classroom presentations.
• Assess student learning outcomes to improve learning.
• Advise students and participate in professional meetings/workshops.
• Fulfill duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
