Job summary

Mathnasium in Edina, MN is seeking a motivated Instructor to support K-12 students in understanding and excelling in math. The role focuses on fostering a positive, STEM-focused learning environment and may suit high school or college students with experience in STEM.

You will work with a team to create personalized learning plans and use technology to tailor instruction, contributing to student success and love of math.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for math and a passion for STEM.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make learning math fun for students.
• Find joy helping K-12 students to improve their understanding of math.
• Embrace the use and application of technology to facilitate custom, individualized learning plans based on each student's needs.
• Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for parents & students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support that encourages professional growth.
