Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, grade-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum expectations and standards.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and a love of learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of instructional and assessment strategies.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, classroom activities, and concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, specialists, and administration to support student success.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Maintain positive classroom management practices that promote respect, responsibility, and engagement.
• Utilize educational technology and instructional resources to enhance student learning experiences.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources to support effective teaching and learning.
• Supervise students during school-related activities as assigned.
