Responsibilities

• Performs all routine work assignments as directed by the principal.
• Operates all instructional or office machines efficiently.
• Provides instructional assistance to students.
• Follows instructions given by the principal.
• Provides supervision of students when the principal gives the aide a special, emergency supervisory assignment.
• Is responsible for positive, cooperative behavior when working with children and other adults.
• Maintains good attendance, and makes requests and notifications before being absent.
• Maintains attractive, acceptable grooming and dress.
• Accepts training and on-the-job suggestions by the principal to improve behavior or technical skills.
• Maintains a positive and constructive attitude toward the confidential nature of the job.
