LifeWise Academy seeks a substitute teacher who demonstrates excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is a church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching students.

Responsibilities include completing substitute teacher training, delivering LifeWise lessons, implementing provided curriculum, maintaining a safe classroom, and following discipline policies.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate duties with the teacher.
