Job summary

Livermoreschools is seeking an Extended Learning Assistant to develop and implement engaging activities aligned with the ELO-P and district goals, supporting academic and social-emotional development for all students.

Under supervision, you will create hands-on lessons, supervise students, coordinate with staff, prepare materials, and help with attendance, newsletters, snack service, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in a licensed or exempt preschool facility or school-age program.
• High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by twelve (12) Early Childhood Education (ECE) core units from an accredited college.
• Equivalency: a combination of education, training and/or job experience to perform the job functions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and facilitates lessons and activities aligned with ELO-P and district goals.
• Provides active supervision of students during all programming activities.
• Maintains a safe and positive learning environment and communicates with staff and families.
• Prepares documents, newsletters, lesson plans, supply lists and snack menus.
