Job summary

Enid Public Schools in Enid, OK is seeking a 2026-2027 Childcare Teacher for the EPS Childcare Center.

This full-time role provides 8-hour shifts under an 185-day contract, with pay at about $12.15 per hour and duties to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean, safe environment, following DHS and district regulations, communicating with parents, and completing required trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Criminal history review and fingerprinting required.
• OKDHS Safe Sleep Training and CECPD PDL Registry required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• FERPA and BBP training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and maintain the well-being and safety of the children in the classroom.
• Plan and carry out activities appropriate for the age of the children in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by sanitizing all the toys and surfaces in a regular schedule.
• Comply with all Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Enid Public Schools District's regulations pertaining to the site and the children in the program's care.
• Observe and record children's activities on the approved program forms.
• Provide information to parents about their children, as well as, child development information.
• Participate in staff meetings.
• Fulfill annual staff development or training sessions as required by the Department of Human Services.
• Write and implement weekly lesson plans based on the Early Learning Guidelines.
