Job summary

Enid Public Schools is hiring for the 2026-2027 Childcare Teacher position at Prairie View Elementary. This is a full-time, 185-day contract working 8 hours per day with a rate of $12.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include providing care and safety for children, planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean environment, complying with state and district regulations, documenting observations, communicating with parents, attending staff meetings, and completing required trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.

• Fulfill annual staff development or training sessions as required by OKDHS.
• Write and implement weekly lesson plans based on the Early Learning Guidelines.

• Fulfill annual staff development or training sessions as required by the Department of Human Services.
• Write and implement weekly lesson plans based on the Early Learning Guidelines.

Supervision

The EPS Childcare Center employees will be evaluated by the Director and Principal.
