Qualifications

• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.

• Adheres to Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance at work.
• Present at the physical worksite.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend and lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to supervise students, especially in emergencies.
• Strong vision, hearing, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Instruct and monitor students.
• Use technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom.
• Provide feedback on student work.
• Observe and assess student performance and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, assessments, and assignments.
• Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
