Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate.
• Ability to work with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and professional reputation.
• Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to supervise students during emergencies.
• Vision and hearing, plus clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials for active learning.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments per guidelines.
• Instruct and monitor students.
• Use technology to support differentiated instruction.
• Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom per guidelines.
• Provide feedback on student work.
• Observe and assess student progress and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, assessments, and assignments.
• Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
