Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors for after-school chess classes in Downers Grove, IL. Join a flexible, fun team delivering a structured curriculum to elementary students in a positive classroom environment.

Instructors lead 1.5-hour sessions, with classes typically scheduled weekday afternoons between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Training is provided; mileage is reimbursed for travel between schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly, and fun sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage students.
