Job summary

The Press Club Grill is seeking a friendly, outgoing bar/server to ensure guests enjoy their experience in Roseville, CA. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and collaborate with the team to deliver quality food and beverage service.

Key responsibilities include maintaining clean, stocked bar areas, recognizing guests’ preferences, and serving beverages responsibly while following safety guidelines. Must be 21+, with required California Food Handler Card and RBS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• California Food Handler Card required before first shift.
• RBS certification required before orientation/hire date.
• Basic math and money handling capability.
• Basic reading ability and computer familiarity.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and drink recipes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Multi-tasking ability and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Widen guest satisfaction by friendly welcomes and attentive service.
• Input drink orders and manage payments accurately.
• Maintain bar display, cleanliness, and stocked areas.
• Partner with team to ensure smooth food and beverage service.
• Anticipate guests' needs and monitor alcohol service responsibly.
• Learn guests' names, occupations, and favorite drinks.
