Job summary

The Press Club Grill in California is seeking a friendly, energetic server/bar attendant to ensure guests enjoy their experience. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area with professional appearance and integrity on every shift.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, inputting drinks, handling payments, pouring drinks, stocking the bar, and complying with California Food Handler Card and RBS certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• California Food Handler Card required prior to first shift.
• RBS Certification required prior to orientation/hire date.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle money and give correct change.
• Basic reading skills and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Multi-task oriented and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language.
• Maintains a clean, stocked bar and dining area to company standards.
• Inputs drink orders, collects payment, and makes change.
• Pours drinks and assists servers; arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Safely handles alcohol and reports any safety concerns according to policy.
