Carlos Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Long Term Substitute 5th Grade Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of 5th grade students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
• Use various teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning, including hands-on activities, group projects, and interactive technology.
• Assess student performance through formal and informal evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support academic progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to report on student progress and collaborate on any necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to enhance the overall educational experience at the school.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and any relevant documentation.
• Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
