Ideal candidates will hold a Minnesota teaching license, have 5th grade experience, and be committed to integrating biblical principles with 21st-century learning in a private Christian school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education.
• Valid Minnesota Teaching License.
• Previous experience teaching 5th Grade (or student teaching).
• Experience with 21st century learning concepts and integration of technology into the classroom.
• Knowledge of Christian K-12 education.

Responsabilités

• Teach the assigned 5th grade class.
• Classroom planning overview for the year.
• Apply biblical integration principles to all classes.
• Weekly lesson planning & prep; lesson plans posted on RenWeb.
• Curriculum evaluation including course objectives.
• Inventory curriculum and supplies.
• Maintain grades in the school management system.
• Proactively communicate with parents.
• Conduct fall grade level parent meetings and conferences.
• Keep attendance and lunch counts; maintain bulletin boards and displays.
• Enforce handbook policies and collaborate with the special needs department.
• Attend scheduled faculty meetings; monitor bus and carpool areas.
• Assist with special school programs as assigned.
