Job summary

CLA is seeking an Engagement Senior for our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). You will serve as an interim or project-based accounting resource across industries, handling accounting, finance, tax and audit engagements.

You will design and improve monthly close processes, financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations. Travel opportunities are available, and you can select engagements to balance career and life.

Qualifications

• Four years relative work experience in accounting, with Big Four or similar public accounting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with a variety of accounting software.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an interim or project-based accounting resource for clients across industries on accounting, finance, tax, and audit engagements.
• Design/improve accounting processes such as monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
• Take an active, hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
