Job summary

Public Health Management Corporation seeks an Outreach and Engagement Specialist to represent HPS/HPC at community events, coordinate materials, educate communities, and support referrals. The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in non-profit settings and a collaborative, flexible schedule.

The OES will track community contacts, work with the Outreach and Engagement Manager, and participate in team meetings to ensure program goals are met.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral communication and ability to engage diverse communities.
• Experience in non-profit settings and working with families, including those affected by substance abuse, mental health, or related issues.
• Proficiency with email, MS Office, and web-based data systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent Health Promotion Services (HPS) and Health Promotion Council (HPC) at community events.
• Prepare and collect materials for distribution at events in coordination with the Outreach and Engagement Manager.
• Educate community members about programs and services HPS/HPC provides and facilitate referrals.
• Track contacts made at outreach events and maintain data compliance.
• Participate in supervision sessions and team meetings as needed.
