Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead client engagements and supervise fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation for private equity funds. In collaboration with the Engagement Director, you will drive efficiency, oversee communications, and support business development.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree, 2+ years in public accounting or VC/PE fund experience, and proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of VC/PE fund experience or fund administrator experience.
• CPA preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent client contact to keep abreast of ongoing fund activities
• Manage client expectations and engagement efficiency
• Supervise fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation
• Review communications to clients and investors
• Assist with sourcing new clients, issuing proposals and business development
• Mentor and train junior staff members
