Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Finance Software Deployment Lead to drive deployments for customers from scoping through launch. You will work with finance executives, blend consulting with hands-on configuration, and own both pre-sale and post-sale work in a fast-moving environment.

You will map financial workflows, configure ERP/accounting software, and explain complex topics to executives. A builder mindset and on-site NYC work 4–5 days/week are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience implementing or managing customer accounts for accounting/finance software.
• Experience implementing ERP or accounting software in startups or finance transformation teams.
• Familiar with monthly bookkeeping and period-end cycle (ledger, reconciliations, payables, receivables).
• Ability to explain complex accounting topics to executives.
• Builder mindset and ability to work quickly with limited structure.
• Willing to work on-site in New York City 4–5 days per week.
• Accounting or finance degree.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Drive finance software deployments for customers from scoping through launch, working closely with finance executives. The role blends consulting, hands-on system configuration and accounting know-how, with ownership of both pre-sale and post-sale work. It suits someone who enjoys building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

• - Manage customer engagements from start to finish, working directly with finance executives and teams to roll out accounting software.
• - Map how a customer's finance workflows operate and configure the software to fit their needs.
• - Handle pre-sale and post-sale work for accounting products covering the general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll and payments.
• - Explain detailed accounting and technical topics to customers clearly and effectively.
• - Take ownership and build new processes where none exist, moving quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• - 3 to 5 years of experience implementing or managing customer accounts for accounting or finance software.
• - Experience implementing ERP or accounting software, whether at a software startup or within a major accounting firm's finance transformation practice.
• - Working familiarity with the monthly bookkeeping and period-end cycle, covering the ledger, account reconciliations, payables and receivables.
• - Skill in explaining intricate subject matter to executives on the finance side.
• - Builder mindset and comfort working at pace with limited structure.
• - Willingness to work on-site in New York City 4 to 5 days per week.
• - Accounting or finance degree.
