Century Health is on a mission to accelerate medical breakthroughs using AI and real-world clinical data.
Today, answering critical clinical and commercial questions is slow because rich clinical data is siloed across health systems, academic institutions, and private practices. Our platform transforms this complex real-world data into research-ready datasets and rapid insights for life sciences partners, while protecting patient privacy and supporting the research community.
We are building the infrastructure that turns raw clinical data into impact.
Life sciences companies come to Century Health for clinical depth they can’t find in other real-world datasets. Our network includes 240+ clinical sites across neurology, GI, nephrology, ophthalmology, and pulmonology, with 6M+ patient records. Each engagement brings together a customer’s scientific question, data from our partner practices, AI-powered curation, and expert clinical review. Customer demand is growing quickly. This role exists so every customer has a dedicated partner who knows their program inside and out, so we can take on more engagements without lowering our bar on quality or timelines.
Patients first
Our work starts and ends with what’s best for patients.
Delight our partners
Our partners place their trust in us, and we take that responsibility seriously. When we’re not sure how to do right by them, we ask.
Follow the data
We dig into the data to understand why, and we act on what it tells us. When opinions differ, the data decides.
Bias to action
We move fast because trying an idea is the fastest way to prove it works. When we’re wrong, we learn and go again.
Pride in what we build
Making our mark on the world requires ownership and sweating the details. We celebrate doing what we love, doing it well, and doing it together.
People are the point
We’re an AI company, but first we’re a group of smart, caring, fun-loving humans who reflect the patients we serve.
As Engagement Manager you will own delivery for key life sciences and data partner engagements, from the moment a contract is signed through deliveries and renewal. You will work directly with the founders and our business development team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead each engagement from kickoff through delivery: build the work plan, agree on milestones with the customer, and make sure we hit every deadline.
Be the day-to-day point of contact for customers, running status meetings, sending clear written updates, and resolving issues before they become escalations.
Bring together our data science, engineering, and clinical teams so every deliverable meets the customer’s scientific and operational needs.
Align with customers on exactly what we deliver, including cohort definitions, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, data transfer, and acceptance criteria.
Manage scope, timelines, and change requests in close partnership with business development so delivery always matches what we committed to.
Find opportunities to expand the value we provide customers and work with business development on renewals and follow-on studies.
Build our delivery playbook, including templates, project plans, and processes that let us run many engagements at once as we grow.
3+ years in life sciences consulting (strategy, HEOR, or real-world evidence) or a similar client-facing role, with experience leading engagements for biopharma clients.
Excellent with customers; you lead meetings with confidence, build trust quickly, and are credible with medical, HEOR, and data science teams.
Strong program management skills; you can run several complex, fast-moving engagements at once without dropping any of them.
Scientific fluency in study design, real-world data, and clinical concepts, enough to turn a customer’s research question into a clear plan. A background in life sciences, public health, or a quantitative field is a plus.
Familiarity with real-world data sources such as EHR and claims data. Experience with data licensing, de-identification, or clinical abstraction is a plus.
Exceptional written communication; you can turn a free-flowing discussion into a clear plan with owners and dates the same day.
Fluent with AI tools; you use them daily to produce work faster.
Low ego, high ownership; you are equally happy presenting to a customer’s leadership team and fixing a broken project plan.
These qualifications are guidelines. If you are excited about the mission and believe you would thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply.
