Job summary

CSG is seeking an Engagement Manager for remote work in the United States. You will lead end-to-end software implementation projects, coordinating with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery within budget.

The role emphasizes executive communication, governance, and continuous improvement. You will mentor other project managers, drive delivery excellence, and contribute to CSG's practice enhancements while supporting a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing software implementation or software development projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles (scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, dependency, change, resource management).
• Experience creating project plans, budgets, resource forecasts, communication plans, status reporting, and governance materials.
• Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder forums with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder management.

Job description

The Engagement Manager manages multiple medium to large custom and/or SaaS Implementation from initiation through completion. This role coordinates technical and non-technical stakeholders, provides delivery leadership and direction, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. The Engagement Manager facilitates effective communication, motivates cross-functional teams, fosters collaboration, contributes to continuous improvement, and mentors other project managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple medium to large complexity projects, end to end.
• Create or obtain approval for project initiation documents, delivery approaches, project success criteria, and materials supporting internal program reviews.
• Deliver projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and changes; escape and resolve concerns with appropriate account and delivery leaders.
• Select and apply appropriate delivery methods, tools, and governance practices.
• Facilitate project workshops, status meetings, stakeholder forums, and decision‑making sessions.
• Create and execute communication plans and establish project infrastructure for effective information sharing and document management.
• Develop and contribute to project budgets and resource forecasts; track delivery performance against budget and forecast, and address variances.
• Coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders to maintain alignment, accountability, and momentum throughout delivery.
• Ensure project deliverables and documentation are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with delivery standards.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve the Delivery practice and CSG's project delivery capabilities.
• Mentor and support other project managers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, dependency, change, and resource management.

• Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder forums with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
• Experience mentoring project managers or contributing to delivery process improvements.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.

Position Pay Range: $86,158.55–$137,850.79 (This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity).
