The University of Pennsylvania Libraries seeks an Assistant Director of Engagement and Events to lead high-impact donor engagement and on-campus programs in Philadelphia. You will manage board meetings, regional cultivation events, and campus visits, coordinating with development colleagues and senior leaders to advance fundraising goals.

This role requires agile project management, excellent communication, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2–3 years of related experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant event planning or donor relations experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute high-level events.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to collaborate with senior leaders and donors.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute two annual on-campus Board of Advisors meetings with logistics and catering.
• Coordinate regional cultivation events in major cities and manage logistics from registration to follow-up.
• Collaborate with Penn Alumni Relations, Kislak Center, and Libraries Development on donor programs and Homecoming events.
• Support development-adjacent initiatives like the Penn Libraries Book Prize in Sustainability and Building Bridges Program.
• Coordinate campus visits for board members, donors, prospects, and families; prepare materials and schedules.
