Job summary

CLA is seeking an Engagement Director to serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients across industries, covering accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles. You will design and improve processes such as monthly close, reporting, and forecasting while taking a hands-on approach to engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience including public accounting (10+ years preferred).
• Mastery in Excel and experience with diverse accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries (interim controller, financial reporting manager, internal audit manager, etc.).
• Design and improve accounting processes such as monthly close, reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
• Take a hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
• Travel as needed to meet opportunities.
