Vitality Living in Spring Hill, FL is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to help plan, implement and promote resident activities, transportation, and community engagements. Join a team dedicated to meaningful experiences for residents, families, and colleagues.

The role emphasizes personalized programming, strong communication with residents including those with dementia, and collaboration with leadership to create vibrant engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful programming for residents, families, and team members.
• Effectively communicate with individuals with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia to promote success and quality of life.
• Computer skills are required to perform programming tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license to transport residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Safely transport residents in a community vehicle according to schedule.
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle and model successful engagement.
• Create engagement for residents based on their preferences and lifelong interests as recorded in the resident life journal.
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the community to enhance engagement experience.
• Assist by performing other duties as assigned by leadership.

As a Vitality Living Engagement Coordinator, you will impact lives as you:

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance the quality of life for all residents
• Safely transport residents in community bus or another vehicle according to schedule
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle; model appropriate and successful engagement of residents
• Create engagement for residents based on their preferences, experiences, and lifelong interests as reported in the resident life journal
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the greater community to enhance overall engagement experience for residents
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Engagement Director, or Memory Care Director
