Job summary

Vitality Living Spring Hill in Florida seeks an Engagement Coordinator to plan, implement, and promote resident engagement activities. You will safely transport residents as scheduled and facilitate programs that support a vibrant lifestyle aligned with each resident's interests.

The role emphasizes individualized engagement and collaboration with the care team, residents, and the community to enhance overall well-being and experiences in the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful, and individualized programming to meet residents, family, and team needs.
• Effective communication with individuals with Alzheimer's or related dementia to promote success and quality of life.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Safely transport residents in the community bus or another vehicle according to schedule.
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle and model engagement of residents.
• Create engagement for residents based on their preferences and lifelong interests as reported in the resident life journal.
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the community to enhance engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

As a Vitality Living Engagement Coordinator, you will impact lives as you:

• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the greater community to enhance overall engagement experience for residents
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Engagement Director, or Memory Care Director
