Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Pueblo, CO is looking for an Engagement Coordinator to design and implement resident-centered activities that foster purpose, joy, and belonging. You will create daily, weekly, and monthly plans and help residents connect with one another in a vibrant community.

The role emphasizes creativity, strong communication, and leadership as you supervise activities, coordinate events, and support transportation and volunteers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience planning and leading group activities or events.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and iPad/tablet technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a balanced activity program aligned with Sunrise Engage Life standards.
• Create daily, weekly and monthly activity plans and publish the community calendar.
• Encourage resident participation through creative, purposeful and inclusive programming.
• Welcome new residents and help them build connections within the community.
• Lead group activities, wellness exercises and special events.
• Coordinate seasonal celebrations, life events and community décor.
• Support public relations efforts and positive community outreach.
• Manage activity space organization and event preparation.
• Supervise and support the Driver role and transportation scheduling.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers as applicable.
• Support customer satisfaction goals and act as Manager on Duty when required.
