Sunrise Senior Living, Palos Park, IL, is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator – Lead Resident Engagement & Create Meaningful Connections. You will plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs across neighborhoods, supervise volunteers and concierge staff, and partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with event planning experience.
• Experience with volunteer engagement technology and reporting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across all neighborhoods, including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards.
