Ryan Companies seeks an Engagement & Community Manager for our Westmont, IL or downtown Chicago offices. The role travels up to 50% to engage with communities around projects and build meaningful relationships, elevating the jobsite experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, event planning, or culture-focused roles.
• Experience in construction, field operations, or large project environments preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to engage communities and projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of cohesive team member experience plans across one or more projects.
• Design, coordinate and host inclusive site-wide events, wellness activities, and appreciation efforts.
• Advance inclusion, equity, belonging and safety across sites and teams.
• Gather feedback, measure outcomes, and report results to inform planning.
• Act as a visible advocate for morale and day-to-day experience on site.
• Develop and manage community giving back initiatives and partnerships across projects.
