Job summary

Towson University Hillel is seeking an Engagement Associate to help build relationships with Jewish students and create engaging programs on campus. You will expand reach, support participation, and cultivate experiences that enrich students' lives in Jewish community settings.

This entry-level role suits someone with experience in Jewish summer camps, experiential education, or youth groups who enjoys working directly with students and growing a welcoming, inclusive campus community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 0–3 years of work experience (internships, student leadership, camp counseling, or youth group involvement) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic, ongoing relationships with Jewish students through conversations, tabling, and campus events.
• Implement a consistent engagement strategy to deepen students’ connection to the Hillel community.
• Support planning and execution of Shabbat dinners, holidays, and social programming.
• Empower and mentor student leaders to foster an inclusive Jewish community.
• Manage program logistics and maintain event records for impact measurement.
