Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants seeks a Director, C&E Consulting to lead employee communication projects for the national C&E practice, while mentoring a team of consultants. The role focuses on developing multi-channel campaigns and aligning work with C&E standards and client expectations.

As a consultative leader, you will drive growth and consistency of EPIC's Employee Benefits practice, foster strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality results across complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or equivalent experience.
• Employee benefits or healthcare industry experience a plus.
• Client management experience.
• Experience leading, managing, mentoring or developing consultants or project-based teams preferred.
• 10+ years combined benefits and communications experience, including demonstrated experience leading client work and/or consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee-facing benefits communications strategy from development to delivery.
• Coach and develop a team of C&E consultants, guiding client strategy and deliverables.
• Oversee workloads, project assignments and workflows to ensure on-time, high-quality results.
• Create compelling benefits content across digital, print, and in-person channels.
• Ensure content quality, readability, and optimal channel distribution.
• Manage third-party vendors contributing to print, digital, and online communications.
• Support new business development with EPIC leadership and account teams.
• Lead interviewing, onboarding, training, and ongoing capability-building for consultants.
