Job summary

Community Services for Children, Inc. seeks an Engagement and Enrollment Specialist to support Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre‑K Counts enrollment and outreach. You will enter data, process applications, and engage families while coordinating with community partners.

The role emphasizes accurate data management, customer service, and bilingual communication with families, with flexible hours including some evenings and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field and/or Microsoft User Specialist Certification.
• Two years data entry experience.
• Advanced computer knowledge and experience with information management systems.
• Strong communication/interpersonal/ organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and full time use of car.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Arabic required.
• May be required to work 2-3 evenings per week and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Develops expertise and utilizes the Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre‑K Counts program software system (ChildPlus) with accuracy and assures timely completion of data entry for all required program elements, as assigned
• Completes data entry and word processing in other departmental required systems
• Provides high-quality customer service with all referral sources, including parents
• Completes enrollment applications, ensuring all required verifications of eligibility have been met to maintain a culture of compliance and cooperation
• Supports outreach efforts in the following ways: represent HS/EHS/PKC at meetings, presentations, events, and fairs; build and nurture relationships with community resources and service providers where potential families might engage; provide feedback and information on potential new outreach opportunities

Community Services for Children (CSC) is seeking a new energetic team member for a rewarding career as an Engagement and Enrollment Specialist. This position provides outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and data entry for the Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre‑K Counts programs as well as family engagement support for Pre‑K Counts classrooms.
